A Most Happy Earth Day To All!
On this day set aside to encourage everyone to stop and consider the planet and our individual and collective activity upon it, the following is offered as the subject of a timely meditation:
All things are interconnected.
Everything goes somewhere.
There’s no such thing as a free lunch.
Nature bats last.
(The “Four Laws of Ecology,” originally proclaimed by Barry Commoner, adapted by Ernest Callenbach for his book Ecology, A Pocket Guide.)

Oh, this is too beautiful for words – well, a poet might be able to do it justice with visual imagery. I could stare at this Malachite for hours! Of course, I’d get no articles written, would I?
Thank you so much for this reminder of God’s beauty.
