The Moorland Balance

The week Mark turns his attention toward The Moorland Balance; the Science Behind Grouse Shooting and Moorland Management published by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust and featuring a forward by Sir Max Hastings.

A slim volume – fifty-six pages in total – Mark may very well devote more words to reviewing it than it contains. However as he notes, he took up writing about the volume because he found it “a fascinating read, as much for what it neglects as for what it says.”
