Word has reached me that Little Toller Books is preparing to publish a hardcover slipcased set of Richard Mabey’s four most significant books – “Beechcombings,” “The Unofficial Countryside,” “Nature Cure,” and “Gilbert White” – in honor of his eightieth birthday.
