Downloading the latest images from my Wingscapes BirdCam, I discovered this one of what at first glance appeared to be one of the local squirrels having a little too much fun swinging on the nut feeder.

However when I took a closer look, the expression on the squirrel’s face, be it accidental or a true reflection of an internal emotion, conveyed a distinct sense of unease and concern.

Had I set the BirdCam in video rather than photo mode, I suspect the audio track accompanying the potential video of this scene would have included a very high pitched but still forcefully delivered squirrel expletive.
