Although they created their YouTube channel back in November of 2011, the Linnean Society of London hasn’t been particularly active on the site since then. Items of Interest Worth Remembering
Back in 2009 when The Well-read Naturalist had just published its first review, Grant McCreary was already approaching the third anniversary of his own book reviewing website, The Birder’s Library. Now, seven years later, his superb site is celebrating its tenth anniversary.
Back in October of 2016 at the American Museum of Natural History, Jonathan Balcombe, author of “What a Fish Knows,” presented an overview of some of the material he included in his highly praised recent book about fish behavior and cognition.
There was apparently so much palaeological goodness at the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology’s 2016 meeting in Salt Lake City this year that Palaeocast couldn’t contain their coverage of it in a single podcast episode.
