What with all the attention (or as some less kind wags who look a bit like yours truly might call it, hype) recently given to the launching of Elon Musk’s Tesla convertible into space aboard the SpaceX Falcon Heavy, it was a refreshing breath of fresh air indeed to turn on the recently published Episode 477 of Astronomy Cast: “State of Exploration: Once and Future Moon” and hear Dr. Pamela Gay‘s intelligent, insightful, and delightfully candid assessment of the history of lunar exploration. Even if your interest in all thing astronomical is limited to current event headlines, this podcast episode is a “must listen.”
