Those who may have missed Elizabeth Marshall Thomas’ memoir A Million Years with You : A Memoir of Life Observed when it was first published in 2013 should be pleased to learn that it has been issued by Chelsea Green in an updated paperback edition titled Dreaming of Lions; My Life in the Wild Places that also contains a new afterword by the author.

Thomas, whose previous books include The Hidden Life of Deer and the long-time New York Times best-seller chart listed The Hidden Life of Dogs, is well known for her unconventional approach to the subjects of her previous books, and in this memoir, filled with stories from her unconventional life, readers will no doubt come to understand from where her ideas and methods of field study originated.
